'The Virgin Traveler'

Virgin Atlantic

By Claudia Nwankwo The next time you want to travel to London from Lagos, try Virgin and thank me later!

Lagos to London was awesome aboard Virgin Atlantic. Cool stuff...I loved every bit!

It was a smooth trip and a lovely experience from the client desk at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos all the way to Heathrow. The entire journey was cool. The Virgin crew were very courteous. Easy protocol, no lousiness, no delays...simply professional.

Everything in-flight was awesome. Nollywood star studed movies. I saw "the arbitrators", staring A-List actors like O.C Ukeje, Adesuwa Etomi, Ireti Doyle etc. Too much drama, too many swear words *sigh* cool though.

The meal...oh my world!

I had chicken curry with coconut rice in-flight ..it was delish! Very tasty and very Nigerian. I enjoyed it so well I forgot to take pictures.  The interesting part (for me)  was the wine. Oh! This white wine I had "casa pinero" Wow! My sitting partner had four (187ml) bottles  I think..I had just two. The hostesses were very beautiful and pleasant. They wanted to kill us with supplies. Clearing out and refilling us as if we paid too much money. If that was "lower economy" I wonder what "first/business class" would be like.

And oh!

My sitting partner was an interesting personality. We shared too many gist about politics, business et al...nice convo, great guy. What caught my attention was that 'mans' was wearing two wedding bands I was wondering if na two wives something Lol (he explained though). That conversation did wonders! Man ended being "an angel" (as my friend,  Maria called him) . He too enjoys flying virgin (it's always his first choice).

I am not much of a traveler though...definitely not a "virgin traveler" but (having been on a business class flight of a premium airline before) I know firsthand what quality service feels like. My trip with virgin was great and as an advocate of excellent customer service I recommend Virgin Atlantic Lagos - London👍.
