Parenting is a huge responsibility

Claudia

Dear Parents,

I hope we're not leaving the responsibility of "raising" our kids to teachers and helps alone.

Money is not all it takes.

Infact money is a small part in raising children.

When you do get to spend time with them, What are you talking to them about? What life lessons are you sharing with them? How do you resolve issues among them? How do you relate with them?

Especially your sons. I hope you're not just buying them PS5 to play their lives away.

Are you teaching them grooming and cleanliness?

Do your daughters know that being female is not an excuse for "entitlement mentality".

In teaching them to have self-esteem/confidence I hope you remember to teach them to be humble and respectful.

I hope you are raising them to use their initiatives. To think and reason to solve problems and not to look-on or un-look.

Life has really changed and it keeps changing. The train is moving so fast it waits for no one.

I hope we're living upto our responsibilities as parents.

Remember say those criminals wey dey kirikiri na person born them.

I hope we're doing the needful, praying for them and guiding them aright.

Make hay while the sun shines.
