This life no balance

Image
Life's unpredictability never ceases to amaze me. One moment, we're riding high on the waves of happiness, celebrating milestones like weddings or new jobs. But just as swiftly, we find ourselves grappling with the rough currents of challenges, be it marital issues or work stress.  One moment you’re enjoying friendship the next time you take stock you’re total strangers. Sometimes you’re happy and healthy, next your health fail or tragedy strikes. A little buoyant, a little broke—Big wins here, big problems there, small victories, and little troubles.  It's a rollercoaster of emotions. This life, truly, no balance! Amidst it all, we learn to survive the highs and lows, we embrace the journey with resilience and grace.  In all, nothing must take away our hope. The only choice we have is to remain positive because the only option we have is to keep living.

No excuse for bad behavior

Recently,  I’ve been reading alot of hot takes on divorce and how people expect women to tolerate badly behaved men whereas the men just want to “enjoy life”… I have always said that the solution to cheating is walking away or cheating back where the first option seems too extreme because people do not ordinarily behave well if there are no consequences. “Fostofall” you have to really be silly for you to give what you cannot take. It is important for us to acknowledge that adult actions are primarily DELIBERATE choices.  It’s not funny how people make silly excuses for bad adult behavior. Dismissing their behavior as mere mistakes or misunderstandings. We must realize that such leniency only enables a cycle of irresponsibility and harmful behaviors to persist. Adults, by virtue of their age and experience, are expected to exercise sound judgment and take responsibility for their actions.  Making excuses for them not only undermines this expectation but also ignores the impact of the

Being a mom is truly the best job in the world

Being a mom is often referred to as the toughest job in the world, but ask any mother, and she'll likely tell you it's also the most rewarding. As a mom myself, I can attest to the fact that while it may not come with a paycheck, the joy and fulfillment it brings are priceless. From the moment you hold your child in your arms for the first time, you embark on a journey unlike any other. You become their protector, their teacher, their confidante, and their biggest cheerleader. You witness their first steps, hear their first words, and celebrate every milestone along the way. Sure, there are sleepless nights, endless laundry piles, and moments of chaos that seem never-ending. But amidst the chaos, there is an overwhelming sense of love and purpose that fills your heart. The joy of seeing your child's face light up with excitement, or feeling their tiny arms wrap around you in a tight hug, makes it all worthwhile. As a mom, you wear many hats. You're a nurse when they'

Character is important: Don’t overlook it.

When it comes to selecting a life partner, there are numerous qualities to consider: compatibility, shared interests, and physical attraction, to name a few.  However, one often underestimated yet crucial factor is character. The essence of who a person truly is, their moral compass, integrity, and values, plays a significant role in the success and happiness of a relationship. Character isn't just about being a good person; it's about possessing qualities that define who someone is at their core. Here's why character should never be overlooked when choosing a partner: Foundation of Trust : A person's character is the foundation upon which trust is built. Trust is vital for any relationship to thrive, and it stems from knowing that your partner is honest, reliable, and consistent with their words and actions. A person with integrity acts with honesty and principles, even when no one is watching. Trust is the cornerstone of any relationship, and without integrity, it cru
