Your body is counting…

I wanted to mind my business but since the year is coming to a wrap, I said let me tell you… As the years count, your body keeps scores.

There’s a simple truth many of us overlook in our daily lives. Any part of your body that you overuse will age faster than the rest.

The body is incredibly resilient but it is not invincible. When we push it beyond balance, it always finds a way to remind us.Many people overlook how lifestyle choices especially when taken to extremes, can affect long-term productivity.

Think about it...if you sit for long hours every day, your back and joints eventually pay the price. If your eyes are constantly exposed to bright screens without rest, strain and vision problems become almost inevitable.

The same principle applies to every part of the body.

For instance, there's a common belief amongst men that they must

have sporadic intercourse to protect their prostate health which makes them often sleep around with multiple women. You would think that education or atleast common sense would prevail but you find even the most educated amongst men living less than an animal because he wants to keep his penile strength at optimum.

*I laugh in swahili*

My brother, that thing you’re afraid of will eventually happen. See you see erectile disfunction and your wife will not be "understanding". Even you would not be happy with yourself when the reality of your lifestyle choices hit hard.

An overworked penis cannot age gracefully.

This is part of the reason many marriages would fail in the long run because you cannot segzually satisfy "your" woman which is a very important component for couplation.

Also, goes for women who have

multiple intimate partners, you are overworking your privates. Having many children too takes a toll on your overall health... It takes time for the body to bounce back.

Alcohol is another thing that we indulge so casually yet it destroys so badly. You're never getting recognized by the brewery. So, calm down.

Smokers, please have mercy on your organs.

Some of you live at the gym…

Moderation is wisdom o!

Do you not know that constant physical strain, lack of rest, poor habits and unchecked indulgence can quietly wear the body down. It’s not about fear or shame, it’s about awareness.

The body keeps records of how it’s treated.

Living well doesn’t mean denying yourself pleasures of life, it

means knowing when to pause, when to rest and when to protect your health for the greater good. Your body is the only place you have to live. Treat it with intentionality, care and gratitude...because longevity isn’t just about adding years to your life, it’s about adding life to your years.

Remember, as the years are counting, your body is counting too. Don’t say you weren’t informed.

You should commit to loving yourself and practicing self-care in 2026. Work purposefully, eat good, rest well, keep healthy relationships and add exercise to your to-do list especially if you’re above 40.

See you in 2026!
